The city felt the need to do a sweep before the event and it was necessary to do a massive sweep after the event.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Calibri;\">Seems for security reasons the homeless that populated the event location were told to leave and anything that was left behind would be thrown away\u2026 What compassion seeing the main event was a man who is telling\u00a0people everywhere that they\u00a0should be working to eliminate homelessness. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Calibri;\">After the event was over and the crowds had all gone home what was left was a huge mess. Trash everywhere that needed to be cleaned up. Is that what they teach\u2026 use planet Earth as your personal dump?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Calibri;\">I\u2019ve been involved in organizing weekend events for thousands of people, most of them sleeping in tents and we always maintained that you left the grounds better than you found them. I know it was most likely a small percentage of those attending the Pope\u2019s mass in Philly that created the mess. Those who were picking up after themselves should have policed those who didn\u2019t. Just think how that would have looked if a million people converged on the city to see the Pope and when they all were gone the place was left spotless\u2026 That would have been impressive, however that didn&#8217;t happen and the net result is I&#8217;m left\u00a0thinking what\u00a0irresponsible slobs!<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Pope made a stop in Philadelphia, the city of brotherly love, where he presided over mass to an estimated 1 million people.
