The 2020 presidential race is shaping up to possibly be a pivotal\nyear in our countries history\u2026 It may well be the year that the left seizes control\nof our government and every aspect of our lives with a strict socialist agenda.\nIt seems that all of those who are throwing their hats into the ring to become\nthe next Democrat nominee feel the path to victory is to promise a total nanny\nstate to those too ignorant to understand that it will not work here just as it\nhas failed everyplace else on the planet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We\u2019re already seeing how embolden the extreme liberal arm of\nthe Democrat party has become with the introduction of the New Green Deal\nlegislation in congress. It promises free education, free healthcare, a guaranteed\nliving wage job, guaranteed housing, guaranteed paid vacation, sick time and maternity\nleave. It also imposes new energy efficient building codes that will be\nretroactive to every structure ever built. It\u2019s going to eliminate our\npetroleum based energy industry and replace it with 100% renewable energy\nsources. Get the idea\u2026 government is going to have us by the short hairs. So\nhow do they think they are going to pay for all of these new government\nentitlement programs? The legislation imposes an income tax as high as 90% on\nsome wage earners\u2026 it imposes a wealth tax equal to 10% a year of your total\nwealth (no matter where on the planet you move it to.) In other words they plan\non taxing the rich to death. The one question I never hear anyone ask when the\nleft starts talking about the rich not paying their fair share is\u2026 What exactly\ndo you think is their fair share. The top 5% of wage earners pay something like\n80% of all the income taxes already.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I certainly hope that I\u2019m all wrong and the voters are more intelligent\nthan to give power to the extreme socialist arm of the Democrat party, however\nthere is no fixing stupid and we seem to have an awfully lot of those in this\ncountry.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
