Bill Gates recently made the comment that nobody needs to be\nas rich as he is\u2026 I\u2019m sure that it\u2019s real easy to criticize and make such\ncomments when you don\u2019t have a clue what being poor or in the middle class is\nlike.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He plans on giving the bulk of his fortune to his\nfoundation, which fights poverty and diseases in third world countries all over\nthe planet. Of course that means that the kids are only going to get an amount\nthat falls under the inheritance tax limits\u2026 poor souls are going to have to figure\nout how to live with a measly 9 or 10 million dollars. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Gates also believes that he isn\u2019t paying enough in taxes,\nbut apparently still uses all the tax laws to his benefit to pay as little as\npossible. Someone should ask him the more important question\u2026 does he believe\nthat the Federal Government is better equipped to spend his money than he is?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
That\u2019s really the bottom line when it comes to taxing the\nrich to death. The government feels they can spend that money in a manner that\nis far better than anything those earning that money can do. We should all be\nasking ourselves, when was the last time the Federal Government ever ran an efficient\nor cost effective program?
