Time Magazine’s Person of the Year

Time Magazine announced their person of the year for 2017… “The Silence Breakers.” So Time Magazine feels that a bunch of women who are making accusations of sexual misconduct that are in some cases decades old to be the most influential and most important person of 2017. What a crying PC shame. Of course the short list of candidates included the leaders of China and North Korea, so their choice could have been even more idiotic. I’m not trying to diminish the severity of any unwanted sexual contact or harassment, but lets face it men are pigs, they have always been pigs and will more than likely always be pigs. Most keep those thoughts and actions in check… a select…

Seasteading

A story on Drudge is where I first heard of the term, which is the concept of living in a floating self-contained city. The non-profit group, Seasteading Intitute, based in San Francisco has been floating (forgive the pun) the idea since their formation in 2008. Funded by some sort of virtual currency they have gotten the blessing of the French Polynesia to use a portion of their coastal area to test and build the first floating island city. People since the dawn of man have been dreaming of such a utopia… seems now that we have an over abundance of billionaires who lean to the far left and have swallowed the climate change pill a serious attempt at creating just…

Another Nut Case With A Gun and A Grudge

Here we go again… another mass shooting. This time 26 people, half of them children, were gunned down during Sunday church service. The only reason that more people weren’t killed by this pathetic excuse for a man was that a neighbor with a gun had the courage to fire back at him and chase him until he got stuck in a ditch… at which time the coward apparently decided to end his own life rather than take responsibility for his gruesome actions. The debate by the liberals will ramp up again demanding more gun control… more of the same empty arguments when the problem isn’t the guns it’s the nut cases that shouldn’t have them. We need to do a…

Liberal Distraction

Congresswoman Frederica Wilson is such a piece of work… She drums up a lot of publicity for herself by misrepresenting a conversation she overheard between President Trump and the widow of Sgt La David Johnson who was killed Oct 4 while serving in Niger. The media jumped on it like a pack of hungry wolfs mainly because it was something they could use to hurt President Trump by perpetuating the same misrepresentation that began with Wilson’s comments. Did you hear anyone ask the question what the whole conversation was like? In what context was the so called offensive statement made? I’ll bet if any rational person were to have heard all of President Trump’s conversation that there wouldn’t have been…

Honoring Our National Anthem

Everyone is buzzing about our pro athletes protesting during the playing of our National Anthem. Facebook and the main stream media can’t seem to get away from the subject…which is part of the problem. Personally I have mixed feelings… I believe that these overpaid babies have every right to peacefully protest at any time for any reason. However I also believe in this instance all they are doing is showing their ignorance by disrespecting out National Anthem because they want to bring attention to racial in-equality or racial injustices or whatever they seem to perceive as being wrong with society. I also believe if the main street media would stop giving them so much press they’d realize how stupid they…

Media Bias Against Trump

If you need any evidence that the major news media is out to harm and discredit President Trump you only have to look at the amount of time the network news programs spent covering Trump’s recent battle with the media during yesterday’s new conference. NBC and ABC spent 70% of their air time bashing President Trump and twisting his comments to mean something other than what he said. CBS devoted the entire evening, 100% of their broadcast to the task of attacking Trump. It’s so very clear to me that the major news media in this country will do whatever it takes to demonize the Trump administration. They started out yesterday by badgering Trump with the same question over and…

Obamacare Lives On

The third attempt by the Republican controlled Senate at getting something started that will end the nightmare we call Obamacare failed last night. John McCain was one of the three traitors on the conservative side of the isle and apparently the deciding vote that put the measure down to defeat. Personally I believe that John McCain has become an embarrassment for the Republican Party and a slap in the face to conservatives all across our great land that are expecting the people they have put in power to do what they campaigned on and derail the liberal push toward a single payer system once and for all. The master plan B is to now sit back and watch our health…

Georgia’s 6th Congressional District Special Election

Republican Karen Handel defeated Democrat Jon Ossoff in the special election to fill the seat vacated when Tom Price took a position on President Trump’s Cabinet. The way the campaign was financed really disturbs me because every one in the media seems to think its okay for funds to pour into any political race uninhibited from outside sources. In this case the Democrat outspent the Republican by a heavy margin and they still lost, which I hope gnaws at the democrat party for long time. I thought since campaign finance seems to be the topic of the day that this would be as good a time as any to restate my idea for campaign finance reform… something the politicians have…

Mark Zuckerberg Preaching Utopia

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg, during his Harvard Commencement Speech said; “Every generation expands its definition of equality. Now it’s time for our generation to define a new social contract. We should have a society that measures progress not by economic metrics like GDP but by how many of us have a role we find meaningful. We should explore ideas like universal basic income to make sure everyone has a cushion to try new ideas.” Personally I think it’s dangerous to be filling our graduate’s minds with the idea that the government should just give everyone a basic living wage… especially when there is nothing expected of them in return. We’re raising a generation of lazy uninspired idealistic morons who think…

Bethune-Cookman University Commencement

Betsy DeVoss, the new Education Secretary under President Donald Trump was invited to speak at the graduation ceremony at Bethune-Cookman University in Daytona Beach. In case you don’t know Bethuce-Cookman is one of the leading primarily black collages in the southeast. As might be expected the student body along with several of this countries top race baiting organizations went berserk over the invitation and the protests only intensified as the press escalated their coverage. I believe the real problem runs far deeper than the liberal objections to Secretary DeVoss’ policy beliefs. I truly believe that most of the student’s objection was to a white person giving their commencement address. After all they are attending a race based university… where the stereo…
