Lindsey Graham, Republican or DNC Operative?

Yesterday Senator Lindsey Graham was being interviewed on the Today Show. Matt Lauer and Savanna Gunthrie started off grilling him about this Russian connection to the Trump campaign story that they refuse to let go of and the Obama wire tapping claim that Trump made in a tweet. They managed to move the interview onto the Republican HealthCare bill where Graham, a Republican, seemed all too willing to bash the crap out of.

I’m not sure what side Lindsey Graham is working for… of course there are times when I think Trump is working for the DNC with this habit he has of feeding the liberal base stories that have no basis in fact and that keep us all distracted from the real issues of the day. Let’s be honest here, even if there were hard evidence that Obama ordered or obtained a warrant to initiate surveillance at Trump Tower in New York City there is zero chance that he would ever be prosecuted for any crime.

Graham made another comment that pissed me off… he said that Trump is moving too fast and needs to slow down. He went on to say that in his opinion we should let ObamaCare collapse under its own weight and then work on a solution. Is he nuts? That would be playing right into the Democrat’s hand. If ObamaCare falls apart, which is what Obama designed it to do, the only solution to the problem then would be to let the Federal Government take over everyone’s healthcare or more commonly known as the single payer system that Obama, Hillary and Bernie have been fantasying about for years.

The other comment Graham made that irritated me was about the provision in the Republican plan to allow insurance companies to sell insurance across state lines. He said without reservation that that part of the bill would never get the 60 votes in the senate needed to pass. This I just don’t understand… first off why would we need 60 votes? Can’t they use some slight of hand tactics to get it to Trump’s desk with a simple majority vote? And secondly why on Earth would anyone in their right mind object to that change? I’m sure the liberals have some twisted reason why increasing competition in the Healthcare industry is a bad thing, but in my opinion it is the most important change that needs to be included in any Healthcare Reform legislation.
