Inauguration day… should be a celebration of our democracy. However, today is a far cry from that ideal. We have a President who is leaving office after receiving several million more votes during his re-election campaign than he did during his first… something that is a very rare occurrence.
Joe Biden will be sworn in as this country 46th President after winning the November election with 80 million votes… a number that is logically unbelievable. Looking back at the most recent Presidential elections I find that in 2008 we had a total of 125 million ballots counted, in 2012 there were 121 million ballots cast, in 2016 the number was 128 million votes… In 2020 there was 155 million ballots counted.
I find it inconceivable that in the four years between 2016 and 2020 that we would have 27 million more people voting than voted in any prior election. The support for Trump was visibly 10 fold the support being shown for Biden and yet Biden comes out on top? Was there voter fraud… Definitely. Is there any way to prove it… apparently not. I’ll be very interested in the total number of votes that will be cast in the next Presidential election… I’m betting that those 27 million new ballots will suddenly disappear, unless the Democrats manage to keep the election laws they got in place prior to the 2020 election which allowed the Liberals to manufacture all those extra voters. I’m sure that history will show just how unfair this past election really was. We can only hope that by 2024 we still have a country that we can be proud of and an election that we can have confidence in.
