The news that Hillary Clinton was off the hook for her illegal email activities was a bit of a shock even though I don’t think there is anyone on the planet that wasn’t expecting it. Especially after Bill Clinton had that little private meeting with the US Attorney General where all they did was talk about the grandkids… Right! We all know Bill either threatened her and/or told her she would keep her job as long as she did him a couple little favors. Of course Hillary might hope that the issue goes quietly into the night, however I’m sure she’s going to have to deal with the issue all the way through the campaign. Trump is not going to let anyone forget…

President Obama has come up with a clever way to answer the allegations by Trump over the non use of the words “Radical Islamic Terrorist.” He has spun it around and making it sound like Trump thinks all we have to do is utter the words and the problem goes away. It’s another example of just how stupid Obama thinks the average US citizen is. Trump has never said the problem would go away if Obama would just utter the words Radical Islamic Terrorist… Trump is saying you have to be able to identify the problem before you can ever find a solution to the problem and since Obama can’t identify the problem he’s never going to solve the problem.…

It’s just over 5 months until Election Day and I know I’m not alone in wishing it was over already. This is the first Presidential election that I can remember where we know this far out who both major party nominees are. 40% are staunchly entrenched behind Trump and 40% are solidly behind Hillary, which leaves 20% sitting on an imaginary fence waiting for some divine intervention to guide them in the voting booth. Good luck with that. Yesterday afternoon Hillary Clinton made what was advertised as a Foreign Policy Speech… what we heard was her typical stump speech demonizing Donald Trump, followed by Donald Trump calling Hillary names. I think we’ve already heard all we are going to hear…

Ted Cruz, in an act of sure desperation, named Carly Fiorina as his VP running mate. During an interview with Fiorina later in the day she said, “I am very proud to be a woman. But I would never ask people to vote for me because I’m a woman. Ted Cruz didn’t pick me because I’m a woman; Ted Cruz picked me because I’m a capable individual.” Is she that ignorant? It is so obvious that Ted Cruz is playing the woman card in a desperate attempt to draw more of the women vote. We’ll see how well that works come next Tuesday.

It’s a presidential election year and the very survival of our way of life is at stake, however I’m experiencing an unusual void in topics to write about. I’ve run the gambit of emotions, but have not had any ambition to put those feelings into print. I started out hoping Jeb Bush would garnish support and climb in the poles. When that didn’t happen I wanted Marco Rubio to succeed only to see him faltered and drop out early. I’m sure you’ve seen it… the viral video of this woman yelling and cursing at Governor Rick Scott inside a Starbucks in Gainesville. It’s being shown repeatedly on most of the mass media outlets and I’m sure that a lot of liberal hacks have posted it and spread it around on Facebook. I saw it for the first time last night on the boob tube and to be honest I have my doubts as to how spontaneous this was. To start with the quality of the video is way too sharp and stable to convince me that it was taken by some random bystander using their phone. California’s governor has signed into law a mandatory $15 per hour minimum wage for the entire state. On the surface it sounds as if the ignorant masses have prevailed in persuading the government to use the police powers of the state to get a huge raise. What you don’t see up front is the fact that what this new law does is step the minimum wage up to the $15 per hour by the year 2022. That’s 6 years from now!
