It didn’t happen soon enough for me, but when it did happen there was one thing that surprised me and one thing that didn’t.
The thing that surprised me is that he didn’t give Hillary Clinton a blanket pardon. Obviously she never asked for one because Obama would have gladly obliged. The good thing about this is it leaves the Clintons open to prosecution for any of the past illegal and immoral activities.
The thing that didn’t surprise me is how Obama felt it necessary to waste approx. $1.8 million taxpayer dollars so that he could fly on the Presidential Plane to Palm Springs, CA for vacation immediately upon leaving office. I consider that last slap in the face of every hard working man and women in this country. Obama hasn’t had a clue how the common citizen lives for a long time now. Maybe at some point during his retirement he will learn what humility is… but I’m not holding my breath.
