The main street media got a huge break overnight when the news broke that police had identified and cornered the Austin Texas bombing suspect who ultimately killed himself by detonating a bomb inside the vehicle he was hold up in.
It gave the liberal media outlets a great excuse for not having to spend more than a few minutes reporting on the school shooting that occurred yesterday that ended quickly when an armed resource officer shot and killed the shooter. The shooter only had time to get off a couple of shots before being taken down by what can only be described as a good guy with a gun. One student is in the hospital and another treated and released for a gun shot wound… the only fatality thankfully was the shooter.
The Today show spent 2 minutes on the report that aired this morning 20 minutes into the show. They did surprise me when they didn’t try to spin the incident into another call for more gun control. However they did feel the need to remind us that this happened just days before the big march to promote gun control.
