Reparations or handouts to the black population for events that occurred almost 200 years ago has got to be the greatest scam on society today.
We’ve got students at Princeton who think because some of the early administrators and professors from the early 1800’s were slave owners that the school should set aside 15% of certain funds and only use them to benefit the black student population.
We’ve got several of the 2020 Democrat hopefuls looking to become the next President of these United States who are advocating paying reparations to anyone claiming to be a descendant of a slave, which pretty much means you just have to be black in order to hold your hand out. Unfortunately it’s so obvious to me that the only thing that these early Democrat candidates are trying to do is pander to the black population in order to sway their vote in their favor.
Then you have the so called Civil Rights Activists who use the idea of reparations for the sole purpose of stirring the racial pot in order to make themselves relevant.
In the long run the whole idea of paying one segment of our society for something that happened ions ago and which was a legal and socially accepted practice only serves to keep the race card on top of the deck.
